Facilities
Clarence Shooting Club, Inc. leases range time and facilities from the Ten X Shooting Club, Inc.
Indoor Range
The indoor facilities (Located at 853 Ransom Road, Lancaster NY 14086) and consist of an indoor 20-position fifty foot (50′) target range for handgun and smallbore (.22 rimfire) rifles. Center fire handguns are permitted. A 2022 improvement project by Ten X included the addition of ballistic sheeting on the backstops for the downstairs portion of the range. Copper jacketed bullets can be used on the range (downstairs only). Any type of hollow point or duty/self defense bullets are prohibited. Any factory .357 or .44 magnum ammunition is also prohibited. We can only use lead ammunition upstairs. Target carriers are pneumatically turned and electronically timed for consistent match conditions. The range offers 24-hour security fob controlled access to the indoor facility to members in good standing.
The indoor range building also has a meeting/classroom area, suitable for class instruction.
Outdoor Range
The outdoor range is located in the town of Newstead, just outside of Akron NY. There is a pistol range with 30 covered shooting positions with turning targets at 25 and 50 yards. There is also a rifle range with berms at 100 and 200 yards, suitable for sighting in your hunting rifle.
The outdoor range property also features a stats office, a kitchen, and plenty of parking!

The 10-position range in the basement is shown, another 10-positions are available upstairs.

Ready room in the basement. A similar room is present upstairs.

The range is located in Newstead, NY. It features a covered 30 position pistol range.

The pistol range features turning targets at 25 and 50 yards.

Statistics Office/Sign-up Building
We store our targets/cardboard in this building and it is also the place to sign in for the matches.

Rifle Range
The rifle range features a covered firing position and tables, with target stands at 100 and 200 yards.

Kitchen and Restrooms Building
Nice area to have a picnic lunch while visiting the range. Serves as our kitchen during our summer picnic and long matches (e.g., 2700s such as the outdoor state match).
